Colorimetry

The workshop format is identical for women and men.

I will send you a link before our interview so that we can work via video conference.

During this workshop, I will ask you several questions about your goal and motivation. You will share your color preferences with me, as well as what you dislike or are hesitant to wear. I will try to understand your habits regarding placement and color combinations. For example, the colors you wear on your upper or lower body, or if you create color combinations. I will also ask if you wear accessories. Other questions will focus on makeup if you are a woman, and on your hair color habits. Finally, we will determine your strengths and weaknesses in terms of color and whether you would like to try other color.

Before determining your color mix, I will email you instructions for taking a photo of yourself in
natural daylight. You can send me this photo before our color analysis workshop.

Next, I will analyze your color mix using the photo you send me to determine your colorimetry. To do this, I will analyze your skin, hair, eyebrows, and eye color. For each of these elements, I will see if you are more in the warm or cool tones, light or dark, saturated or desaturated. For example, saturated colors are pure colors, while desaturated or muted colors are colors that deviate from pure colors. I will then formulate a hypothesis that I will need to validate by inserting your photo into digital frames that you can see during a screen sharing session.

By seeing your photo duplicated in the different colored digital frames, I will help you identify the colors that best suit you. For example, does the color of this digital frame give you a healthy glow or does it make you look more tired ? The purpose of using the digital frames is to determine your season. Indeed, based on color analysis, you will be categorized as either winter, summer, spring, or autumn. By refining this analysis with printed digital charts, we can determine which sub-season you belong to. For example, if you are a deep winter, your color palette will differ from that of an intense winter or a cold winter.

At the end of the digital frame session, I will give you your color palette and explain it to you. I will also talk about the symbolism of the colors you like best and that flatter you. I will also suggest two or three color combinations that best match your image goal.

Depending on the workshops you have chosen, either the session will end here or we will continue to another workshop that will take place at a different appointment.

If you only chose a color analysis workshop, I will send you a summary of that workshop and a small gift.
